Week #9
This weeks piece is again using cell phone shots from my walks. The haiku is a version of a poem I wrote for a course I'm taking having to do with using life as a source for poems. It's a terrific course at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education taught by David Semanki. Kay Dolezal

Week # 8
Here is my Time Project piece for week #8. Saw this goldenrod on one of my walks and was struck by it seeming a bit out of place. Again my cell phone camera helped me record the moment. Kay Dolezal

Week #7
This is my piece for this week. It's the image I came acroos that had an image I used in two previous pieces. It's the net-like, cellular structure that I find so compelling. It was just there while I was taking a walk. The haiku wasn't just there with it - took a long time. Kay Dolezal

Week #6
This is my haiga for this week. It doesn't express a momentary impression, but some of my thoughts and impressions about time and life. I had heard this information about dogs on an NPR program and it stuck with me.
The visual element I've used before. It was originally a potato starch based print I made some years ago. I find it fascinating, full of resonance to nets of all kinds. Yesterday I took some photographs of a similar phenomenon I came across in a puddle while on a walk in the park. I hope to use one of them soon.
