I don't have much to add to this piece, which is partly a poster in my mind. I'm sure I'm not alone in finding the news photos hard to look at. I certainly don't mean that we should not see them or not know what is going on with the oil spill. I just mean that the implications are so discouraging and complicated that the work ahead seems an overwhelming task.
